Successful completion of this training course, by passing the relevant examination and skills assessment, will demonstrate knowledge and basic skills to undertake and lead an IMS audit. You will sit for a 3-hour exam to test your knowledge, and your skills will be continually assessed. You must succeed in all elements to pass the course and obtain your certification.
The certification and course structure for the auditing of the ISO 56002 guidance standard for innovation management system covers seven key high-level elements. These elements are the same for all management system standards. This Integrated Management Systems Lead Auditor training course teaches the fundamental auditing principles and practices, in conformance with national and international accepted norms and regulations relating to the ISO 56002 requirements. By attending this course, delegates will also gain the necessary auditing skills through activity-based learning, and practical auditing experience with coaching, group workshops and open forum discussions. Experienced BSI tutors will guide delegates through the entire audit process; from initiation to conducting audit follow-up.

How to Obtain and Maintain the Certification
Step 1
Meet the eligibility requirements. To be eligible to register for the IMS Lead Auditor – Master Black Belt Course and Certification, an individual must have attended the IMS Designer/Implementer – Black Belt Course (or its equivalent) and show proof of ownership of the IMS Lead Auditor – Master Black Belt Course Guidebook.
